I have been creating and teaching crochet for more than 40 years and I would love to share my knowledge and passion for handicrafts with you all.
Nothing says teatime like a tea cosy. This floral tea cosy in Spotlight Entwine Pure Wool recently competed at the Taree Show and came first! So proud! It now has pride of place in my buffet.

G’Sepp and I will be saying Ciao to Sydney and moving to Harrington on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
We are looking forward to a slower pace, fresh air, beautiful beaches and a new beginning.
I will still be teaching Crochet to beginners and holding regular workshops.
I am also looking forward to joining the CWA Harrington Branch and meeting their Crafty Ladies.

This stitch is so simple and easy to learn. I admire all kinds of crochet from complicated mandalas to simple single crochet. This gorgeous yarn with its monochromatic gradient colour way is perfectly matched with a simple stitch for my new shawl.
The yarn is Scheepjes Whirl in Liquorice Yumyum and I used a 2mm hook
I finished this last night. Every year I enter pieces into Agricultural Shows and Craft Competitions. I am not sure if this one will make the cut but I sure enjoyed making it.
These Daisies, Lillys and Dahlias are easy to make.
I have spent the weekend designing and creating these to top a Tea Cosy I am entering into a competition. Which one? Not sure yet but I will keep you posted on the progress and results.

Now I don’t expect my G’Sepp to pop up to the shops with this bright pink market bag but for everyone else your shopping bag doesn’t have to be boring and understated.
I source my twisted cotton from Industrial Yarns in Melbourne. Their range of colours is quite good and I love that I am supporting locally made craft fibre.
